Cooking Recipe: Tandoori Chicken
What You'll Need (for 50g packet):

Chicken (skinless) – 1½ kg / 3.3 lbs (8–12 pieces, slits made)

Plain Yogurt – 1 cup (200g), whipped & strained

Lemon Juice – 5–6 tablespoons

Red Food Color (No. 6) – ½ teaspoon (optional)

Cooking Oil / Melted Butter – 4–6 tablespoons

Shan Tandoori Masala Mix – 1 full packet (Do not mix in water)
Cooking Instructions:

In a bowl, combine lemon juice, red food color, 2 tablespoons of oil or melted butter, and the full packet of Shan Tandoori Masala Mix.

Apply the mixture generously to the chicken pieces and prick all over with a fork. Let it marinate for 30 minutes.

Now coat the chicken with strained yogurt. Set aside for at least 3 more hours.

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange chicken in a baking tray and discard the excess marinade.

Bake for 25 minutes, then brush remaining oil/butter on the pieces.

Finish under the grill on high setting until lightly browned, or barbecue over low coal heat.
Serving Suggestion: Serve hot with Shan Tamarind Chutney, Green Chutney, and onion salad.
