Cooking Instructions
You’ll Need (for 125g Mix):

Chicken – 1½ kg (8 large portions), washed and drained

Cooking Oil – 3 cups (500g) for deep frying

Lemon Juice – 2 tablespoons

Shan Chicken Broast Mix – 1 packet
Method:

Rub chicken pieces with lemon juice and 1 tsp salt. Cover and marinate for 3–4 hours.

Coat chicken in Shan Broast Mix, refrigerate for 15 minutes. Before frying, coat again with remaining mix.

Deep fry in hot oil until chicken is golden, crisp, and fully cooked.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve hot with Shan Tamarind Chutney or classic Tomato Ketchup.
Variations:
🔥 Hot & Spicy Broasted Chicken:

Follow steps 1–2 above.

Mix ½ cup crushed potato chips and ½ cup crushed corn flakes.

Make a thin batter using ½ cup cold water and Shan Broast Mix.

Dip marinated chicken in batter, then coat with chip-flake mix.
